About Us

Our Mission

We exist to offer a therapeutic farm environment  & nature-based activities to connect people with flowers for rooting in peace and growing through life’s stresses.

No matter where you are on your faith journey - you’re welcomed here.

Our Team

Hi, I’m Chelsea!

- Leader of Daffodilly Farms -

In the darkest valley of my life, God led me to a field of flowers.

In the hard days, I chose to sit with Him in the grass and He taught me:

Wherever I am, I am good to grow in peace through the struggles.

Sometimes I crawled and sometimes I walked, but I found support, safety, and love in a flower garden with fellowship.

Saying yes to a faithful flower journey changed me forever.

Which is why, I want to personally invite those who are burdened by stress to come to our flower farm so they can experience the same good long-term healing and health I have now!

And he withdrew himself into the wilderness, and prayed.
— Luke 5:16

Julie Garity

- Lead Floral Designer -

Julie creates and designs gorgeous flower arrangements and is the ingenuity behind all of the Daffodilly flower bouquets. She leads the flower arranging portion of the Flower Focus Experiences as well as operates her own micro flower farm/florist Hello Daisy Flower Farm.

Julie is an active member of the Association for Specialty Cut Flower Growers and of California-based The Flowry - a sustainable, eco-friendly “no-foam” network of florists, floral designers, and flower farmers. Julie makes regular guest appearances on WSB’s Radio Show Green and Growing with Ashley Frasca. She can’t wait to meet you at Daffodilly and focus on the fabulous flowers together.

Our Vision

People easily and freely connecting with nature to go in peace with their Heavenly Father to find effective ways to grow through life’s stresses.

What Makes Our Environment Therapeutic?

DIG IN A LITTLE MORE ABOUT CHELSEA

EDUCATION: I have a Bachelor’s in Communication from Kennesaw State University. In 2022, I completed three years of multidisciplinary educational training in human science, plant science, cut flowers, and horticultural therapy (Colorado State University, Horticultural Therapy Institute, and Floret Online Workshop). I have a certificate in Horticultural Therapy. I’ve used this education to transition our flower farm into a therapeutic based flower farm.

CURRENT EDUCATION: I am supervised by a registered horticultural therapist with the AHTA to assist in completing my horticultural therapy registration by 2024. I’m also enrolled in a soil advocacy course.

TH PRACTICE: In addition to the farm, I lead horticultural therapy sessions at Trellis Horticultural Therapy Alliance.

JOURNEY: I’ve healed from high anxiety, trauma, grief, navigating a family member’s substance abuse, and divorce/separation. I want to help women who need healing from theses same struggles too.

FAITH: My favorite Bible Verse is Isaiah 43

FAMILY: I’m a wife to my dearest husband, Simon, a mom to Saylor (6 year old daughter), bonus mom to Tristan (12 year old boy), Brennan (10 year old boy), and Khaleesi (9 year old girl), and a chicken mom to 10 “girlies.”

SUPPORT: My core family & friends are the BEST cheerleaders and the safest shelters! I have found so much love and care through many support groups (most of them Woodstock City Church referred me to). Nar-Anon, Oasis, and Arise! International are INCREDIBLE and super healing groups!

WRITING: Alliteration is my amigo - if you haven’t noticed already ;). I enjoy screenwriting and poetry as a hobby.

FUTURE: Lots of sheep on the farm (I LOVE sheep).

PASSION: I love the healing and health regenerative agriculture and local farming bring. We need more local farms!

FAVORITE FLOWER: A Daffodil...and yes this flower inspired the name of Daffodilly Farms. :)
